It was a nice day to go out with my partner, so we dressed up and decided to try an Argentine restaurant since we were really in the mood for some meat. We’d heard about this place and it had good reviews, so it was a spur-of-the-moment decision—and we were lucky we called 30 minutes beforehand to make a reservation, haha, so that made it even better.

It’s a small place—you can barely see inside when you walk in—but very cozy, with lots of Argentine decor, which I loved. There’s a slightly more private area downstairs that’s much larger, but it was closed when we went. We ordered an Argentine wine that was recommended to us; it was delicious—I don’t remember the name—and then the dishes arrived: a medium-rare entrecôte with potatoes, a chicken Caesar salad, and mashed potatoes. I was impressed by how delicious it was because the dishes were very simple, but you could really tell the quality of the ingredients. The meat was cooked exactly how we like it—very tender and juicy. The salad had an incredible flavor from the Parmesan cheese, and my favorite was the mashed potatoes; I’m not exactly sure what was in them, but it’s hard to explain just how delicious they were. The meat came with two sauces that added a delicious touch to everything else—I even put some on the mashed potatoes. We were very satisfied, and the best part was that we got a discount, so the price was great.

Maybe when I go back, we’ll try the grilled platter—it was something that was recommended to us, but we didn’t order it since there were only two of us and it was a very large dish. We went in with low expectations, but it surprised us.
