Esta es una suministradora de la marca P.A.N. los productos venezolanos más populares, que tiene un pequeño market donde puedes comprar de forma minorista para tus antojos o por si no quieres en cantidades. Quedaba un poco alejado del centro, pero estando por la zona aprovechamos para ir a matar un antojito.
Es muy bonito al entrar ya que tiene el logo de la mujer con el turbante en la cabeza, ¿quién no la conoce?, si es un símbolo más de nuestra cultura y marca gastronómica. Los colores representando lo típico, nuestra bandera, el amarillo, azul y rojo y por supuesto el maíz que es la base de muchos productos que diariamente comemos.
Entre muchos, lo que más me impresionó encontrar fue la variedad de quesos: telita, guayanés, de mano y algo que me encantaba era la nata. Habían cachitos de diferentes sabores, por supuesto pedimos varios, yo con un café porque siempre es bueno un cafecito, y mis amigos pidieron Malta que es una bebida a base de cebada malteada, semidulce con un toque tostado, estaba muy barata y además querían probarla ya que no son Venezolanos. Una de mis amigas pidió chicha que también vendían y quedó encantada que algo a base de arroz fuera tan bueno.
En mi opinión todo estaba super rico, sentí que viaje por un momento a Venezuela, Con el cachito que compramos, acompañamos de guasacaca y salsa de ajo que costaban adicional 0.50 céntimos cada una, no es como en venezuela que te la regalan por la compra, fue lo único malo, pero puedo decir que el sabor lo valía totalmente, las salsas estaban super buenas.
A parte Rafa y yo, compramos queso rallado que viene congelado de 1 kilo y solo costaba 9 euros, estaba en su punto perfecto de sal como me gusta para desayunar con arepas, y 400gr de carne mechada que olvidé tomarle fotos, pero fue una recomendación y la verdad estaba demasiado rica y de muy buen sazón, el precio era de 8 euros. Como podrán ver en la primera foto también pudimos comprar tequeños, pastelitos o cachapas pero estos productos si son más accesibles en muchos supermercados más cercanos.

This is a supplier of the P.A.N. brand—the most popular Venezuelan products—which has a small market where you can buy items individually to satisfy your cravings or if you don’t want to buy in bulk. It was a bit far from downtown, but since we were in the area, we took the opportunity to go satisfy a little craving.
It’s really beautiful as soon as you walk in, with the logo of the woman wearing a turban—who doesn’t recognize her? She’s yet another symbol of our culture and culinary identity. The colors represent traditional elements: our flag’s yellow, blue, and red, and of course corn, which is the basis of many of the foods we eat every day.
Among many things, what impressed me most was the variety of cheeses: telita, guayanés, de mano, and something I really loved was the nata. They had small portions in different flavors; of course, we ordered several. I had one with coffee because a little coffee is always nice, and my friends ordered Malta, which is a drink made from malted barley—semi-sweet with a toasty hint. It was very cheap, and they also wanted to try it since they aren’t Venezuelan. One of my friends ordered chicha, which they also sold, and she was delighted that something made from rice could be so good.
In my opinion, everything was absolutely delicious; for a moment, I felt like I was back in Venezuela. We ordered a cachito and paired it with guasacaca and garlic sauce, which cost an extra 50 cents each. It’s not like in Venezuela, where they give them to you for free with your purchase—that was the only downside—but I can say the flavor was totally worth it; the sauces were really good.
Besides that, Rafa and I bought a 1-kilo package of frozen shredded cheese that only cost 9 euros; it was perfectly salted, just the way I like it for breakfast with arepas, and 400 grams of shredded beef—I forgot to take a picture of it, but it was a recommendation and, honestly, it was absolutely delicious and very well seasoned; the price was 8 euros. As you can see in the first photo, we were also able to buy tequeños, pastelitos, or cachapas, but these items are more readily available at many nearby supermarkets.
