Grilling, Laughing, and Eating: The Perfect Samgyeopsal Night with Friends

Sometimes we also need to give our tummies a great day by having the food we crave. Korean-inspired restaurants have been a trend in the Philippines for years, and everyone would agree that having some "Samgyeopsal" feels rewarding.

This is why we sometimes plan when we think we deserve to grill some meat and wrap it inside some lettuce, dipped in cheese and other sauces.

We went to the nearest restaurant in town, which brought us closer to Korean-style food. We arrived early in the evening and started ordering meats, side dishes, and dip sauce. The guys also started grilling, as they were left at the table while the girls grabbed everything we needed, including drinks, rice, utensils, and more.

When we had everything on our table, we joined the boys at their table. We helped them out in cooking, and even started eating some of the side dishes. It took us a few minutes to get the meat grilled perfectly.

While some of the newly served meats were in the grilling pan, we also started a conversation and got a taste of the food. We loved all the side dishes and also enjoyed the various meat flavours.

Now, let me show you what we got in the side dishes. We have fish cake, Potato Marbles, Coleslaw, Tofu, and, of course, Kimchi. These side dishes also made everything perfectly yummy. It depends on how you want to eat them.

Aside from the side dishes, we also have a lot of cheese. It's because we all love some cheese. We just continued with our random life stories and some gossip. Of course, nights like this would be boring when we're not talking about other people.

The grilling and eating continued for almost two hours. We had nonstop laughter and conversations. Some are about sports, current social issues, and more. As adults, we usually don't discuss things that don't matter; we only talk about what interests us at our age.
