In the spirit of going to all the pizza places in town and taking advantage of the payday, we went to Pizza de Verdad. This is a franchise. Ours is located in Cumaná Mall.
The place was run by one person and their cheapest pizza starts at 5$. It is a food court place, so it being ok is just fine. We went for an option with lots of ingredients. The best part where ether anchovies. It had been a long time since I last had anchovies in pizza.
Fortunately, the waiting time wasn't too bad this time. However, there was only one person in charge of everything when we ordered. That looks pretty bad since there's a lot of traffic during lunchtime.
When we received our pizza, it was properly cook. The style is thin crust. It is a bit crispy in the borders and more chewy toward the center. The ingredients were fresh and the overall taste was above average.
We spend a bit of time talking about the design of the mascot. I turns out @octocel has friend who looks a lot like it. That's a funny details. Besides that, the use of red over white is a common practice in the food industry. Many places have their name and logo made in red over a white background.
Thus pizza joint seems like a nice option when you want cheap pizza and a quick delivery.
