Greetings, my dear friends at #Lifestyle. I hope you are all doing well, in good health and spirits, and that you had a relaxing weekend spent with your families.
This Sunday, from very early on, I was busy taking orders for hallacas for Christmas dinner, without stopping for a second. I ended up tired, but with a happy heart.
I confess that at times my back hurt, but I just had to remember that all that effort was going straight to the tables of many families to forget my tiredness. Besides, everything was made easier by my husband's jokes, and there was no shortage of coffee and that “it won't be long now” that I repeated a hundred times.
So far this season, I've lost count of how many hallacas I've made, but today I confirmed that all the work is worth it when you see the number of hallacas ready, nicely wrapped to organize the different orders and send them to their destination.
This Sunday was intense, busy, and full of work, but that's how this season is, filled with heart, flavor, and commitment.

Este domingo, desde muy temprano estuve full sacando pedidos de hallacas para la cena de Navidad, sin parar un segundo. Terminé cansada, pero con el corazón contento.
Les confieso que por momentos me dolía la espalda, pero bastaba recordar que todo ese esfuerzo iba directo a las mesas de muchas familias para que se me olvidara el cansancio. Además, todo se aliviaba con las ocurrencias de mi esposo, y no faltaron el cafecito y ese “ya falta poco” que repetí como cien veces.
En lo que va de temporada ya perdí la cuenta de cúantas hallacas he hecho, pero hoy confirmé que todo el trabajo vale la pena cuando se ve la cantidad de hallacas listas, bien envueltas para organizar los diferentes pedidos y enviarlos a su destino.
Este domingo fue intenso, movido y full trabajo, pero así es esta temporada que lleva puro corazón, sazón y compromiso.
