We drove to the other town yesterday for a couple of errands. First, we dropped by my sister's workplace to get our parcels. From there, we proceeded to the RHU for my vaccination, then went home to BC to pick up some stuff and install the mini gates in the yard. We had to because the neighbors' dogs and chickens are intruding on it and making a mess. Dad wasn't around as he attended an aunt's entombment.
After watering the plants, we headed to the valley for groceries and yep, lunch. It was early afternoon (1 pm), and we were quite famished. Meanwhile, Yongi was in a lazy mode. He was pretty quiet when we settled into our table by the balcony at the Cafe. He seemed tired or something. He slumped on the chair, his eyes fixated on the street below.

Alas, he got quite excited when our meals came. He was up quickly and started sniffing the sandwich. There are veggies in it, that's why.

We shared everything, well, except the bowl of Ramyun, which the hubby had for himself. It looked appetizing but very spicy, which is a no-no for me. He gave one of the chickens to our LilGuy, removing the skin and bones, that is.

So we ate slowly, savoring each bite, as if it were the last meal in the world, lol!
Joke aside, it was one of those times when we didn't feel the need to rush. Well, we had some meaningful conversations, too.
Result?

We emptied the plates. We were really hungry, eh!😅
Anyway, one last photo of our little boy before we left our seats.

From there, we took the road to my father-in-law's place for a visit, dropping by the veggie center for some greens, romaine, lettuce, beans, snacks, etc, which we shared with the old man.
We stayed three hours there over chit-chats and such, before we left and came back home to DD. A day well-spent, I say!
