Braised Chicken (Semur Ayam)

in #food12 days ago

Good Morning!

I have been having fun watching birds visiting through my birdcam, so am a bit slow in sharing cooking/baking recipe(s) these days 😅

I haven't even updated my recipe site and I was like, holy moly, I need to add 18 (new) recipes to my site. They were shared on YouTube and/or Hive.blog alrrady, but not yet to my own website 😅

Anyhoo!

This following dish is basing on Indonesian food called Semur Ayam. The difference is that, in my household I use common bay leaf, ghee, and vinegar. In Indonesia, we don't use them for our Semur Ayam. So maybe I should say Semur Ayam Canada style? 🤣

Semur Ayam is normally sweet btw, and that's the main thing about this dish, sweet braised chicken 😊

You can thicken the broth if you'd like to, by stirring in flour or starch solution, if not, leave it as is

Serve with warm rice

LoL I usually do my blog first and then hive shortly afterwards (though sometimes if it's really late I leave hive til the following morning).

I remember loving this one as well XD

I used to do that, then came Cheetah bot and leaving warning if not a ban, back in the days 🤣 I started sharing to Steemit/Hive 1st, now its just a habit, here 1st before elsewhere, altho in the end, I often forget my own site until months after and I have to catch up tons, not fun 😅

Nobody can ban anyone off here, that's very specifically how blockchain works XD The closest anything can get is muting you from the front end and even then it's that very specific front end and anyone not using that front end can still see whatever.

I'm pretty sure for bots like cheetah the maintainers do keep an eye on it so if you respond to the bot they will notice eventually. I just kept playfully telling cheetah that it was my post whenever it made a comment and they left me alone eventually.

I did as well. Kept tagging cheetah, gave my website link, but since i post almost daily back then, i got bored going so. In the end, i decided to post here 1st, then gave a day or two before i post on my site, but in the end, i just kinda forgot to post on my own 😅
