Good food is always equal to good mood. This restaurant Zahr El - Laymoun, is a Lebanese restaurant and serves both Lebanese as well as Middle Eastern cuisine. The last time me and hubby were here, was almost 4 years back. I remember it was just after Covid when things had started opening up. I had enjoyed the food, but then somehow or the other it never happened to come back again here. They serve the best pies in the town.
Last evening me and hubby were in this area, and we had no intention of coming to this place, we were passing through it and we suddenly decided to visit here, looking at it suddenly I felt tempted to have the pie here. They have an indoor and outdoor seating, we choose to be indoors
They have a nice indoor ambiance with lots of plants, some real and some fake, but to be honest they all looked real.
I ordered the same dish I had last time, it has been a long time, but I remembered it because it was so delicious and a very unique pie, which I had never had anywhere till date, so it's been stuck on my mind. I ordered the Chicken Spinach Pie.
Hubby ordered a grilled chicken. The presentation of this dish was again very unique; the grilled chicken was laid on a crust with rice fillings and served.
Along with food they are also selling products made from their local produce like honey, jam, vinegar, olives and olive oil.
It was a delightful feast, yes, I did overeat because the pie was big and heavy, I enjoyed so once in a way it is ok :-)
