Ingredients
- 14 oz can of sweetened condensed milk 396g
- 1/4 cup of unsalted butter 55g
- 2 1/2 cups of butterscotch chips 450g
Instructions
- Add the sweetened condensed milk and the butter to a microwave-safe bowl and heat on high 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 minutes until very hot and the butter is melted. Stir around the 1 minute mark.
- Remove the very hot milk from the microwave and pour all butterscotch chips in it. Push them down with a spatula. Then wait for about 5 minutes.
- Stir well until you have a nice thick butterscotch fudge.
- Pour the fudge into a 7×11 or 8×8 inch pan lined with parchment paper or wax paper. Use a spatula to spread it out evenly if needed.
- Chill the fudge in the fridge for 30 to 60 minutes or longer, sometimes it takes a few hours to set properly.
- Remove the cold fudge from the fridge and slice it into squares. Enjoy!
