I’ve always respected the people in the food industry that provides beyond what I have paid for.
Ivan’s Carbina is creating food that doesn’t just fill your tummy, it’s also “top-notch” delicious. The food is slightly more expensive compared to other Western food in hawkers centre but the quality is much higher than the rest in its level.
Last weekend, I had the pleasure to dine at Ivan’s Carbina and order this delicious chicken chop set.
In most cases, the food from a Western hawker food stall will taste about the same with the rest. This Carbina has a different flavor profile and the taste elevated compared to the usual hawker stalls.
The buttered rice is tasty and moist. This is the kind of buttered rice that I feel good pleasure while even though it’s just a rice.
The salad is fresh and the dressing is delicious too. Again, the attention to detail is making me feel that I’m getting more than what I paid for.
The mushroom sauce is good too. They used fresh mushroom instead of the canned ones. I can taste the authenticity of the flavor.
I still have a lot to try from this stall. I will come back for sure to the try the other dishes in their menu.
