What’s For Breakfast?

What’s for breakfast?

That’s the question I hear every single morning. And honestly, it wouldn’t be a problem if the person asking didn’t already know exactly what he wants to eat. The funny part? He knows it’s always tea and bread.

Tea and bread is such a common breakfast in many homes, and I get it… it’s quick, simple, and predictable.
But me? I really don’t fancy it at all. I randomly eat bread once in a while, even though bread is always sitting in my house like we are roommates.

Coffee without creamer

But let’s be honest, breakfast doesn’t have to be boring or repetitive. I get it that it's a simple and quick mean but can we all agree that variety is the spice of life?
So can we just switch things up, instead of tea and bread why not try: pancakes and tea, pap and akara, moi-moi and oat, yam and egg, rice and stew, and even leftovers - no judgment here.

Different people have different breakfast choices, but as for me, I can take literally anything aside from bread and tea. I can even eat rice and beans early in the morning without blinking.

So can we all agree that it’s okay to break the routine and leave bread and tea alone once in a while? Variety is a beautiful thing!

Now tell me… What are you having for breakfast today?

Sort:

I just had fried eggs and bread, and I feel like I need to sleep

That's sleeping dose na.

Have woke up after some hours of sleep

Myself, everything goes for breakfast, no squabbles. Though other members of my family has their own choices,

some bread, tea and omelette, some others pap and akara,

they are grown enough to serve themselves, no more like in those years of my school run with them,,

waking up very early to prepare them and their choice breakfasts, but now, they wake up to serve themselves.
