Hello everyone. It's been quite some time since my last participation here in this wonderful challenge, the Reflection Hunters Contest hosted by @olgavita. It's already Round 101 while my last entry was still in Round 84! Wow. Anyway, glad to have made it back. Check out this contest here if you still don't know about this. Hopefully, you can join sometime in the near future.
I have a daughter who lives and works in Germany. One of the reasons why she chose to work over there is the opportunity to be able to travel to places that she can only see in photos and read about. Well after more than 2 years there, she has actually had her fair share of travels in different places in Europe. Last week, she had another opportunity and she and some co-workers visited the famous city of Venice. When you say Venice, what immediately comes to mind is the waterways and the numerous gondolas that carry thousands of tourists on them, navigating the city by water.
She sent some really great photos of her visit to Venice and for this Round I will be sharing with you her experience with, of course, the gondola ride.
The pictures above show her getting ready to board one in the Gondola Station. It is still winter so the skies are not as bright and sunny as when it is summer.
The gondola itself is quite nice and dry and colorful too.
Navigating between rows of buildings, which I am sure I have seen in some of the movies I have watched. The Italian Job comes to mind and some James Bond movies too.
