A few posts ago, I alluded to the fact that I'm getting fucking old. So old, that my eyes are deteriorating and I have been issued a prescription for glasses. Those glasses came in today.

Without insurance, these were roughly 1500, the matching sunglasses that are supposed to be here tomorrow, were 2k. With insurance and 800 dollars later, you can tell today, marks a 'distinguished' day in my personal history. REMEMBER TO BE YOU! I always am, even as a gentle man.

Glad you do, they're gonna take some major getting used to. Have to hold my head certain positions to get the full benefits. Pisses me off.

The more you leave them on, the faster you get used to them. Honest!

The hardest part for me was driving. BUT I also have just computer glasses too. Because the computer glasses are just a single lense it's "cheaper," and when on my computer, where the monitor is about a hands length away, I do not have to do the head roll to see but don't talk to me while standing at my sink cuz then I have to take my glasses off to see you :D

Progressive glasses (need new ones cuz these are 4 years old), computer glasses (love of my life!), and reading glasses for art.

Life happens, we all get old and getting glasses is Something many are experiencing 😜
And I had glasses when I was 5 untill I was 12 then I didn't need them.. But my glasses back then was butt ugly... Today there are many cool ones.

And I really like the ones you chose here and ofcourse you wear them well 😍 you pimping it 😜 lol

So I'm old since I was 9 when I was diagnosed with astigmatism, but if when we reach a certain age the famous presbyopia appears on the scene among others that if that for me is a nuisance, I think for a long time that people who use lenses or glasses are very handsome, we look interesting, so cheer up and feel great.

Wow, you got an expensive pair. I think mine were under $100. Maybe that's why the quality isn't so good...

I feel that, been wearing them since I was 5 and I'm 38 on Thursday. Needless to say, I've spent a fucking fortune on glasses over the years! It does have the effect of instantly making people look smarter though, unless you end up with milk bottles of course! 🤣 They look good man!

Had glasses through high school and beyond, then I got lasik in my late 20s. It took me almost two years to get up the nerve for voluntary eye surgery but I'm glad I did.

I tell you that to mention this, fucking lasik wears off :(

The doc told me so at the time and it lasted longer than he said but fuck it straight to hell I need glasses again.
